OUR STORY

How Pet's Deary
Came to Be

This story didn't start in a conference room.
It started at my desk, late at night,
and in the eyes of pets waiting for me to come home.

The shiba from our origin story — a framed keepsake photo

Time Moves Faster Than We Realize

One day I was sorting through photos on my phone when I found pictures of my dog as a puppy — all four months old, stumbling when he walked.

That's when it hit me: I couldn't remember what his bark sounded like back then. I couldn't remember how tiny my cat's body was when I first held her.

I felt a sudden, quiet panic.

If I'm already forgetting these details while they're still with me, what happens when they're gone? How will I hold on to who they really were?

That thought stayed with me.

The time our pets spend with us is always shorter than we expect. The sounds they make, the way they look at us, the small things they do every day — these details slip away without us noticing. Without someone to hold them close, they just fade with time.

And So, Pet's Deary Was Born

I wanted to build a place — somewhere to capture every small detail about your pet. It doesn't need to be long. A sentence. A photo. A tiny moment.

And then one day, when you start to miss them, when their memory becomes less vivid and more like an outline, you can open this place and write them a letter.

And they'll write back — in their own way.

This isn't meant to replace them. Nothing could.

But when you miss them, you have somewhere to go — a place you built, a space that belongs only to you and them, that no one can take away.

✦ ── DEDICATION ── ✦

For every pet still here,
and those already gone

We don't know which chapter you're living in.
But whatever it is,
there's a place here,
held for you and them.
